Frequently Asked Questions

Can one machine perform different types of cutting (slicing, dicing, and shredding)?
Yes, most of our multi-function vegetable and meat cutters are designed with interchangeable blade heads. You can switch between slicing, dicing, julienne, and shredding by simply changing the cutter set, without needing to purchase separate machines for each shape.
What is the maximum cutting capacity/throughput of your industrial slicers?
Capacity varies by model, ranging from 300kg/h for compact commercial units to over 3000kg/h for heavy-duty industrial lines. When requesting a quote, please specify your required daily output so we can recommend the most efficient model for your production line.
Can your machines handle frozen meat blocks, or must the meat be thawed?
We have specialized frozen meat slicers and flakers designed to cut meat blocks at temperatures as low as -18°C without thawing. For standard fresh meat slicers, we recommend tempering the meat to slightly below freezing (around -2°C to 0°C) for the cleanest cut and best texture.
How do I adjust the cutting thickness?
Our machines feature a precision adjustment knob or a digital control panel, allowing you to set the cutting thickness typically between 1mm and 30mm (depending on the model). The adjustment is stepless, ensuring consistent thickness for every slice to meet strict quality control standards.
Are the machines made of food-grade materials?
Absolutely. All contact parts and the main body frame are constructed from high-quality SUS304 stainless steel, which is corrosion-resistant, easy to clean, and fully compliant with HACCP and international food safety standards.
What safety features are included to protect operators?
Our equipment includes emergency stop buttons, blade guards, and magnetic safety sensors. If a protective cover or hopper is opened during operation, the machine will automatically stop immediately to prevent injury.
How do I clean and sanitize the machine after use?
The machines are designed for easy wash-down. Most models feature waterproof construction (IP65 or higher) and tool-free disassembly of belts and blade sets, allowing for thorough high-pressure cleaning to prevent bacterial growth.
How often do the blades need sharpening or replacement?
Blade lifespan depends on the volume and type of product being cut. High-carbon stainless steel blades generally last several months under heavy use. We offer blade sharpening tools with some models, and we recommend keeping a spare set of blades in stock to minimize downtime during replacement.
Can this equipment be integrated into an automated production line?
Yes, we offer conveyor-fed models that can be synchronized with washing machines, peeling machines, and packaging lines. We can provide customized input and output heights to fit seamlessly into your existing HSYL processing line.
What voltage options are available for international buyers?
Our standard industrial motors run on 3-phase 380V/50Hz, but we customize motors for specific markets, including 220V/60Hz (3-phase) or 415V, to match the power standards of your local facility.
