Vacuum Dehydration for Seafood, Niche Snacks & Bird's Nests
Discover how customized vacuum frying and freeze-drying equipment solves the ind...
Manufacture premium raw meat pet treats with our industrial freeze-drying equipment. Preserve 99% of proteins with -40°C deep freezing and < 5 Pa vacuum sublimation.
The global pet food market is rapidly shifting toward premium, biologically appropriate raw diets (BARF). Processing raw meats, livers, and compound nutritional blocks requires uncompromising hygiene and precise moisture removal to prevent bacterial growth or nutrient denaturation. Our Industrial Pet Food Freeze-Drying Equipment (Lyophilizer) is specifically engineered to handle high-protein, temperature-sensitive raw materials. By sublimating moisture in a deeply frozen state (-40°C) under high vacuum (< 5 Pa), this system locks in 99% of the original cellular structure, aroma, and nutritional value, delivering a shelf-stable product with a final moisture content of < 2%.
| Model | Drying Area (m²) | Fresh Input Capacity (kg/batch) | Cold Trap Temp (°C) | Ultimate Vacuum (Pa) | Installed Power (KW) |

| FD-500 | 50 | 500 - 550 | -60 | < 5 | 165 |
| FD-1000 | 100 | 1000 - 1200 | -60 | < 5 | 280 |
To ensure consistent quality across multi-ton batches, we provide a complete, scientifically validated Turnkey process that integrates seamlessly with your factory floor:
Stage 1: Pre-Processing and Preparation
Raw materials (beef, chicken breast, salmon) enter the facility and undergo rigorous primary inspection to discard substandard pieces. The approved raw materials are processed through high-pressure washers and then fed into a specialized meat dicing machine to achieve uniform chunks, flakes, or cubes. For compound recipes requiring blanching or cooking, the mixture is rapidly cooled back to 15°C. Finally, an industrial centrifugal dewatering unit extracts residual surface water, perfectly prepping the dense materials for freezing.
Stage 2: Deep Freezing (IQF) Logistics
The prepared meat cubes are evenly loaded onto sanitary aluminum trays and transported via trolleys into a dedicated IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) tunnel matched to the freeze dryer's capacity. The product core temperature is rapidly driven down to -40°C. To optimize overall factory yield and balance the seasonal fluctuations in raw material supply, these pre-frozen trays can alternatively be warehoused in standard cold storage buffers before being loaded into the drying chamber.
Stage 3: Automated Vacuum Freeze-Drying (Sublimation)
The frozen trolleys are pushed into the massive stainless steel sublimation chamber. Under an extreme vacuum atmosphere (< 5 Pa), programmable heating plates apply controlled radiant thermal energy. The solid ice crystals inside the raw meat bypass the liquid phase entirely, sublimating directly into vapor. The PLC system comprehensively monitors eutectic points, autonomously handling primary (ice sublimation) and secondary (bound moisture desorption) drying phases without human intervention.
Stage 4: Post-Processing and Packaging Integration
Once the drying curve dictates that the moisture target is achieved, the vacuum is broken using filtered inert gas (like Nitrogen) to prevent immediate oxidation of the porous meat treats. The dried product is then transferred to a sterile packing room where it undergoes precision weighing and moisture-proof sealing. If you are expanding your factory's SKU portfolio, this dry-processing line operates as a perfect counterpart to your wet lines, such as a traditional pet canned food production line.
Zero Nutrient Denaturation: Because the water is extracted strictly below 0°C without applying the destructive high heat used in standard kibble extrusion, heat-sensitive amino acids, enzymes, and natural vitamins remain completely physiologically active.
High-Velocity Vapor Transport: The internal geometry of the drying vessel and the proximity of the vapor condenser are engineered to minimize resistance. This accelerates the sublimation rate by up to 25% compared to conventional pharmaceutical freeze-dryers repurposed for food, directly shortening your batch turnaround times.
Uniform Radiant Heating: Employing a closed-loop silicone oil heat transfer system, the radiant thermal plates maintain an exact temperature uniformity of ±1°C across all tray levels. This eradicates the risk of "wet spots" in the center of the meat trays, ensuring maximum shelf safety and eliminating mold recalls.
